easy to use, something differentI wasn't really sure what I'd get, given the pictures other customers had on here, but I splurged and bought the thing and I adore it forever. The orange colors are schoolbus orange (I know some of the pictures had it looking like pumpkin or even dreamsicle). It looks like a hi-def picture of oil paint, and I stuck it to my bicycle to make it tie-dye, then bought lots of reflectors to give it mandala wheels. Even then, there was a lot of rainbow sticker left over, so I envision many interesting and pretty projects ahead.As a side note, I'm not going to just stick some decals to my bike, let it go through the rain, heat and frost and keep re-sticking them. I'm planning on laminating what I've got, once I'm finished with all my rainbowing. Also I love how easy it it to peel the sticker right back off, yet how well it sticks. A 1x1 inch square won't stay on very well, opposite resistance like rubbing across it, but a 1x2 inch cutting will stay on, with no problem, under the same pressure, unless you actively try to scrape up the edges to peel it off again.This looks really beautiful! It was pretty easy to put up. I had to trim the ends and then split some stickers between two stairs because our length and width were not the same as the stickers. But it turned out great!! Even though I didn't do a perfect job, you can't really see the imperfections. I'm very happy with my purchase!It’s very pretty but the adhesive did not work, had to buy extra gluePoor adhesion. I even purchased tools to help ensure it would not peel.This is a very lovely effect on our stairs but because it is contact paper it is not an easy project. My late husband was a professional wallpaper hanger of great notoriety. He hung paper for the Rockefeller Center in Phoenix, Dick Van Dyke’s home, Amanda Blake's home and many more. He has often said that he would not even consider hanging contact paper because it is not forgiving and the installation of it is quite tedious. BOY WAS HE RIGHT! It is not easy and it took me seven hours to do our stairs. Regular wall paper would have been much easier because you can move it around to position it. I do love the look of it. If you must take it off to reposition it, ...it may not re-adhere to your surface. Make very sure that the surface is clean. You should buy extra just in case. Also watch for your shadows on the design so that you place it properly. We have received several compliments on our staircase.It does not resemble what an oil paint would look like to me. Rather than looking "fluid", with the sheen and the lines, it looks flat. It does stick well and is easier than doing the painting myself.
